Apple Pairing Instructions for Customer OS3.4.0+

1. Open the Control4 app and tap the collapsed menu icon in the upper left corner.
2. Select the settings icon at the bottom of the menu.
3. Select “Preferences.”
4. Select “Apple TV Control.”
5. Tap OK on the “‘Control4’ Would Like to Access Your Home Data” window.
6. Tap the “Enable Control” toggle under Apple TV Control to enable the integration. NOTE: YOU MAY HAVE TO UN-ENABLE AND RE-ENABLE THIS FUNCTION BY TAPPING IT A SECOND TIME. If you receive an error message when performing this task, fully close the app (by swiping halfway up the screen from the bottom and then swiping the Control4 app tile up) and restart this process from step 1.

7. When you are asked to Add Bridge on the Add Accessory window, tap “Add to Apple Home”.

Note: If multiple homes are defined in the Apple Home app, the Control4 app will ask which home to enable the integration with. Make sure to select the home where the Apple TV is being installed.

8. When prompted, choose a room for the Bridge location. The bridge location is not used by Control4.
9. When prompted, press continue to use the provided bridge name.

10. When prompted, the press “continue” to accept the bridge was added.

The following will need to be done for each Apple TV at the location.

1. When prompted, press continue to add the Control4 Remote.

2. When prompted, choose the remote location.

3. When prompted, press continue to name the remote.

4. Repeat for all AppleTVs at location.
5. When prompted, press done to acknowledge the remotes were added.
