Accessing Your Control4 System After Getting A New Phone
When you’ve purchased a new phone and had all your apps and data transferred over from the old device to the new, your Control4 app will not be able to connect to your system. This is a registration issue as Control4 has not seen the new device before, it is locked out and requires you to go through the sign-in process to validate the new device.
The easiest method has you deleting the Control4 app. This WILL NOT impact the actual system.
- Delete the Control4 app.
- Press and hold on the Control4 app.
- Select “Remove App” from the popup menu.
- Down the Control4 app.
- Open the App Store.
- Select Search
- Enter “Control4” into the search bar.
- Download the “Control4 for OS3” app onto your phone.
- Log into your system.
- Open the Control4 app.
- Enter the email and password associated with your account.
- Press the Login button.
- Wait for your system to load.
